Over the last two decades Dj Ryley Smithson has played thousands of shows for millions of people. Ryley resided at almost every Adelaide Nightclub at some point - from chilled Sunday sessions, to sticky 5am dancefloors. Becoming known as a master of all styles, comfortable spinning to all ages in any genre.
Ryley has twice represented the state at the RedBull Threestyle Dj competition, and been awarded the ‘Fringe Dj of the Year’.
He was the voice of ‘The Kitchen’ and ‘Drive’ on Fresh927, the only primetime dj mixed show on Australian radio.
Corporate clients love Ryley for his ability to meet a thematic brief; spinning records for Tourism SA, Business Events Australia. Bringing in the New Year with 40,000 people in Elder Park, and entertaining a full Adelaide Oval AFL-pregame.

Ryley has been an open-format dj for over 20 years. In those years he held residencies at almost every venue in town, from super club to Sunday pub.
From resident to owner, Ryley shared his love of music by touring dozens of national and international artists.
He was a twice winner of the Red Bull Threestyle dj competition, and winner of the winner of the Adelaide Fringe Dj of the Year.
Ryley has years of experience in radio at Nova919 and Fresh927, his MC skills are natural and casual.
